Looking back at the art I have created, there are many photos I have never shared because they didn’t work like I wanted them too or I just didn’t like the way they turned out. So I just saved them and moved onto the next project. The image below was one of them. I love self-portraits and really should get back into them. Seeing the obstacles of making people float, or adding octopus arms to someones body really fascinates me. I’m sure in the coming Friday’s there will be more of the unseen portraits, but here is the first.

I shot this December of 2012 in the hallway of my studio. Jaime was there with me because, lets be honest, it was late and I was scared of the creepy hallway. haha He stood there while I go ton the floor and contorted myself into this position. It was quite the sight. But in the end, this image was born. I still don’t see it being a very strong shot, but nonetheless, I created something.
