Hello again ya'll! I hope you enjoyed the last blog post about the new Sweet 80 optic from Lensbaby! So, not only did they announce the Sweet 80, but did an "under-the-radar" release of the new Creative Bokeh Optic as well!

This is an 50 mm optic that fits into the Composer System and allows you to have fun with custom shaped bokeh in your images. The lens comes with 9 magnetic drop-in disks, along with 2 blank discs to design your own in the cutest little holder with a magnetic end and a re-purposed film lid.

How does it work? Just like the double glass optic, this lens has a magnetic ring on the inside that allows you drop in the preferred bokeh shape, but the difference being, the aperture ring is built into the optic rather then having to manually put it in.

But back to the new and improved Creative Bokeh Optic! I LOVE shooting downtown lights and fairy lights with my portraits. With this 50 mm spot focus optic, I can do just that and add some fun bokeh, such as stars or hearts, to the photo.
